An upmarket restaurant is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to become part of their dynamic team. This is a place where hospitality, coupled with food for the soul and wine for the spirit comes together. This establishment is on the scenic whale coast route, close to Pringle Bay.
- A genuine passion for food
- Post school culinary qualification or currently completing qualification
- Proven kitchen restaurant experience
- Able to cover all areas in the kitchen
- Able to work shifts when required
- Be proactive and follow HACCP guidelines
- Must be able to work in a team and be able to follow instructions and guidance
- The ability to create new recipes and menus and plan special events
- Be curious and creative with the ability to demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment to staff.
- Need reliable transport
- Stable employment record and sober habits
