KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT

  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers
  • Creating PO’s and submit to suppliers for delivery
  • Updating the BOQ
  • Updating the delivery schedule and manage all logistics (deliveries to site and the warehouse)
  • Requesting delivery notes and follow up on back ordered items.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Compiling site HSE files
  • Ensure the PM’s do their monthly vehicle check lists
  • Ensure the PM’s complete their monthly first aid check lists

 

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

  • Handling all insurance claims
  • Assisting finance with queries related to PO’s
  • Manage projects time and attendance
  • Assisting the PM’s with all procurement and logistics related queries

WAREHOUSE AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Completing requisitions whenever stock is allocated to projects
  • Booking stock out on Job-sys and adding the cost under the Projects BOQ
  • Managing stock returns (Identifying what can be reused, completing requsitions, Book stock back on Job-sys/ searching for cost on PO’s to do a journal for buy-out items)
  • Return items to suppliers to be credited if it was delivered incorrectly and request credit notes
  • Managing project specific deliveries (Receive orders and allocate it to the correct PM)
  • Handling of stock (Picking and packing)
  • Stock take (twice a month)
  • Distribute the stock sheet whenever it is updated to the EP Solar team
  • Stock movement to utilize space more efficiently
  • Cable management (Measuring off cuts returned from site)
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures
  • Requesting volumetric dimensions from suppliers and Requesting quotes from couriers and ensure items are packed and ready for collection
  • Following up to ensure the shipment has been delivered to site.
